I was born and raised in Portage la Prairie as the youngest of 4 with an older brother-Steven, older sister-Deanne and an identical twin sister- Jan. I attended Prince Charles School and then Portage Collegiate Institute before the schools amalgamated to what they are today. I bought my first home when I was 25 years old and took my love of renovating houses and working with the public to find myself in the perfect career of Real Estate! I live with my husband Bill, our rescue dog Charlie and cat Cookie-who are my fur-babies. For anyone who knows me, knows that I live for those animals. I have been a Rotarian for the past 8 years and I am very active in the club and love what we accomplish in the community. Raising money to put right back into the community in the form of walking paths, tennis courts, park play structures and benches etc is a wonderful feeling of community. Since 2018, I have been part of a committee called "Skating on the Crescent" where we provide skating surfaces, hockey rinks, curling rinks, fire pit area etc free for anyone to use and it is a great outdoor asset to our City that I am proud to be a part of. I am lucky to call Portage home and really love where I live and couldn't imagine a better place to be.
